Today we were back at The Moat for a great event organised by Spalding CC. Bumpy was beyond an understatement, with our riders being rattled to their bones! The course had short sharp hills, wooded sections, a fallen tree to get over and of course, in and out of 'the moat'. Seems our riders quite liked it with three of them taking the win today 🎉

The first win of the day came from Toby 🥇 in the Under 16 boys. Another strong ride, leading from the front, with Zach taking 2nd place 🥈 Fantastic boys, well done!

Quickly followed by Freya taking the win in the Under 14 girls 🥇 with Alex in 2nd 🥈 Superb riding girls, well done!

In the Under 14 boys Hector had a strong ride finishing 2nd 🥈with Lucas 4th 🏅 and Herbie unfortunately unable to finish. Bounce back Herbs!

Then came the turn of the seniors and vets. By now the rain was threatening and the wind turned bitterly cold.

In the Vets, Ben and Wayne were 5th🏅and 11th🏅 in their respective categories. Great rides guys!

We started with a win in the first race and Mark wrapped it up with a win in the last race. An absolutely awesome ride, timed to perfection to take the lead with half a lap to go and to ride away to take the victory 🥇 Well done Mark! 

Yesterday Oliver rode the Notts and Derby League at Broxtowe Country Park, finishing 6th🏅in the Juniors, well done Oliver!

Finally a shout out to Ollie Swinburn who came 4th🏅at the National Hill Climb today in Matlock. Fantastic, well done Ollie!
